Our client in Apopka Florida has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk on a contract to possible hire basis.

Accounts Payable Clerk Role:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for managing and processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including reviewing and verifying invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions and reconcile vendor statements.
Ensure timely payments to vendors and subcontractors according to company policies and contractual terms.
Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure all payments are made correctly.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including generating reports and reconciling accounts.
Use ECMS software to track project costs, payments, and invoices.
Collaborate with other departments, such as project management and procurement, to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices.
Prepare reports and assist with audits as needed.
Other administrative duties as required.

Accounts Payable Clerk Background Profile:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2-3 years of accounts payable experience within the construction industry.
Knowledge of Lien Releases and COI’s
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, and basic formulas required).
Experience with ECMS is a plus
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for dealing with vendors and internal teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
