Construction Project Manager Role:
The Construction Project Manager will oversee and drive the successful execution of large-scale construction projects, with a focus on heavy highway and infrastructure development.
Finalize project scope and pricing with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Obtain necessary permits and licenses for project locations.
Release critical items to ensure timely project delivery.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards throughout the project.
Lead field staff and implement the project strategy on-site.
Monitor and evaluate project progress to ensure milestones are met.
Collaborate with Superintendents to create, update, and maintain an accurate project schedule.
Oversee all field operations to ensure alignment with project strategy and construction documentation.
Conduct on-site meetings with stakeholders, including architects, clients, and construction teams, to review construction progress, quality control, and site safety.
Serve as the liaison between the field staff and the architect/owner when issues or conflicts arise.
Prepare and submit detailed project estimates to clients.

Construction Project Manager Background Profile:
5+ years of experience in Project Management, with a focus on overseeing multiple jobsites.
Proven experience managing construction projects, including familiarity with FDOT standards and processes.
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
Strong understanding of project scheduling software and tools to create, update, and manage timelines.
Experience with procurement and subcontractor management, including negotiating contracts and pricing.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, track costs, and ensure projects are delivered within financial targets.
Skilled in risk management and conflict resolution, with the ability to address on-site issues quickly and effectively.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project goals are met.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with clients, architects, and team members.
Ability to prepare and present detailed reports, including project status, estimates, and timelines, to senior management and stakeholders.
