Corporate Accounting Manager  Role
Review financial statements and full-cycle accounting,  encompassing all aspects of accounts payable processing, journal entry management, monthly accruals/amortizations, and reconciliation of Balance Sheets.
Lead Treasury operations, overseeing tasks such as opening/closing bank accounts, monitoring fraud prevention measures, and maintaining relationships with banking partners.
Direct the overall Accounts Payable process, including vendor management procedures.
Supervise accounting activities for multiple upper-tier joint venture entities within the Company’s student housing real estate portfolio.
Manage accounting functions for the corporate entity of the property management company within the Company’s portfolio.
Assist in developing the annual budget.
Aid the Vice President in conducting cash flow analyses.
Evaluate Property Management Agreements, with a focus on monthly corporate fee revenue collection. Prepare annual work papers and reconciliations for year-end tax filings and external audits.
Identify opportunities for process enhancement and contribute to improving operational efficiencies.
