Real Estate Accounting Director Role:
Real Estate Accounting Director will ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting.
Conduct month-end close activities, including posting journal entries, preparing and reviewing account reconciliations, and consolidating 3rd-party operating activity.
Review and ensure 3rd-party operators comply with GAAP and ownership accounting guidelines.
Manage real estate tax and insurance matters, including planning, renewals, and budgeting for the hospitality portfolio.
Collaborate regularly with the asset management team to address overall portfolio needs.
Real Estate Accounting Director will Oversee cash management and planning, implementing proactive strategies to optimize liquidity and support organizational needs.
Perform opening and closing entries on new and disposed assets.
Review, approve, and post Accounts Payable batches.
Ensure timely lender reporting and overall lender compliance.
Support annual financial audits and appraisals.
Real Estate Accounting Director will ensure compliance with regulatory licenses, permits, and tax requirements (sales, business, RE Tax, etc.).
Establish, monitor, and reinforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Manage and coordinate all money transfer transactions.
