Our very busy Houston Law Firm client is seeking a 5+ year Legal Executive Assistant on a full-time, direct-hire basis.  The right candidate must have previous law firm experience supporting managing partners in an executive assistant capacity.

Legal Executive Assistant Role
The Legal Executive Assistant will provide the law firm owner with administrative support and assist with managing their calendar and projects to ensure maximum efficiency of their time.
Reading, researching, writing, and routing documentation; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating communications on behalf of the Attorney.
Maintains Attorney’s calendar and appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, firm events, teleconferences, and travel on their behalf.
Maintains routine schedule of ordering of supplies and tidiness of the Attorney’s office including printer, shredder and telephone and computer systems. Includes presentation of Attorney’s office for day-to-day meetings and guests.
Represents the Attorney by screening all of their calls, answering or directing inquiries, and speaking on their behalf when appropriate.
Maintains client and law firm confidence and protects operations by maintaining confidentiality on all information and projects assigned.
Manages and completes assigned projects by delegating tasks to legal/management staff and attorney(s) on behalf of the Attorney as directed and following up on results/resolution. This includes, but is not limited to, client conferences, meetings, leadership development and training for office staff and functions hosted for the office or clients.
Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information in advance of the Attorney’s scheduled meetings and provides all pertinent information and insights in adequate time for the Attorney to review and prepare.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge and core competencies by attending educational workshops, reviewing firm and industry publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Prepares expense and mileage reports for the Attorney in a timely manner on a weekly basis.
Works on the organization of client events and events supported and hosted by the Attorney.
Work on special assignments or projects as assigned by the Attorney.
